ClickBid is an all-in-one event fundraising platform built for nonprofits and charitable organizations. It supports galas, golf tournaments, charity auctions, school fundraisers, peer-to-peer fundraising, and virtual events of any size. Features include mobile bidding, event ticketing, guest management, live appeals, and peer-to-peer fundraising, also supporting CRM integrations so event data flows back and forth, creating an easy and seamless experience for teams.
Guests bid directly from their smartphones. No app download required. They receive a unique link via text, email, or social media to browse auction items, place bids, and get outbid notifications in real time. Bidding stays open right up until you close the auction, which drives a higher item value than traditional paper bid sheets due to immediate outbid notices via text. The checkout process can be fully automated, sending winning bidder text messages and coordinating payment so there’s less reconciliation at the end of the night.
Yes. ClickBid covers the entire guest journey from ticket sale to checkout. You can sell individual tickets, tables, and sponsorship packages online, collect meal preferences and guest names, and manage table seating assignments. On event night, check-in is fast by using the guest’s name, sponsored table, or QR code. All guest data flows directly into your bidding and payment system, eliminating duplicate data entry.
A live appeal (also called a fund-a-need or paddle raise) is the moment during your event when guests are asked to make an outright donation at a specific giving level. ClickBid displays a live fundraising thermometer or donation goal display as guests raise their paddles or give from their phones, updating in real time. Donors will receive recognition on the live updated screen and receive tax receipts, making the moment far more powerful than passing around envelopes.
Every nonprofit is assigned an Account Manager who stays with you year after year to assist with onboarding through event planning — handling training, troubleshooting, and pre-event planning every step of the way. You can reach them by Zoom, email, or real-human chat. On event day, you’re assigned a US-based ClickBid expert who is on call for the entire day — whether you need help at 8 am during setup or 11 pm at checkout, a real person is there.
